The Lost Surfboard brand emerged in 1985 when Matt Biolos and a group of friends formed 'team lost,' splitting their time between snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing. This informal crew's name gradually evolved into a clothing brand. Matt Biolos, known as "Mayhem," began crafting surfboards in 1987, initially making just 20 boards his first year. To sustain himself, he continued sanding boards and painting unique designs on them, drawing attention from notable surfers like Christian Fletcher and Matt Archbold. Collaborating with shaping luminaries and garnering feedback from top surfers, Matt Biolos honed his craft, transforming Lost Surfboards into a global phenomenon. Based out of Australia's iconic Gold Coast, Lost Surfboards maintain their commitment to quality and craftsmanship, hand-shaping and finishing each board.
