Full Time/Part Time | Rochester, NY

You are the foundation of our success as an organization. You are an expert in creating world-class guest experience in our retail stores. You share exemplary product knowledge and interest in every guest interaction, through education on special features, benefits, fabric properties, usage and care instructions in a way that is relevant to each unique guest. You leverage product resources to elevate technical product knowledge, and you share your knowledge with other members of the team to elevate the level of technical education on the floor every day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Create relationships with every guest to create excitement and fun about our culture, product and community, and you go above and beyond to exceed their expectations
- Knowledgeable and up to date on company communication, priorities, roll-outs and any additional information required by the General Manager; you educate on guest-facing initiatives on the retail floor
- Receive and process stock, involving: unpacking, counting, tagging as required, folding, sizing and placing on the floor, with overflow stock in back room and stored areas
- Responsible for inventory management including receiving, processing, restocking and destocking, and visual merchandising

Content Specialist/Jr. Photographer

This position will focus primarily on our Social Media accounts (instagram, facebook, twitter) for the Neon Wave Family of Brands as well as minor involvement in the e-com operations for Neon Wave. No professional experience required, but a proficient understanding of social media is necessary. Ideal applicant is excited, positive, looking to grow, and want to spend time in a startup environment that is evolving daily on a global scale.

Skills/Interests Required:

- Photography
- Social Media Interest 
- Photoshop/Lightroom/Capture One experience (any, not all)
- Organization
- An interest in fashion/outdoors
- An understanding of social media scheduling, advertising, and community management

You are responsible for educating associates and equipping them with the tools they need to better provide the guest with authentic and effective assistance, as well as the ability to overcome challenges on a day-to-day basis. You are equipped with a versatile skillset; you take initiative, have strong ability to assess situations and are able to provide an efficient solution to any obstacle. You assume leadership and provide feedback for your team, and are able to adapt to the flow of day-to-day business. You work closely with the Assistant General Manager and other Supervisors to ensure smooth communication and tasking for associates, lead by example, and demonstrate a proactive mindset.
