Our youth are the future of board sports, and there is no better time to have your young ones join our standing sideways family for the first time than with the Neon Wave team as we proudly offer year-round access to Burton Snowboards’ Riglet Education Programming (did someone say Christmas in July?). Reminisce on the magic you felt when you threw your first snowball, when you strapped into your board for the very first time, and when you sat on your first chairlift. Share that magic with the next generation by joining us for free at any of the below events. Neon Wave's Run Club is back on the trails! Meet at 7215 PITTSFORD-PALMYRA RD, FAIRPORT, NY at 9am Saturday, January 27th for a 1/2 mile, 1 mile, and 4 mile option. If you've been wanting to explore Rochester's trail systems but don't know where to start, this is the perfect event for you. This route is perfect for all skill levels and all ages - an out-and-back style route will be on the menu so you can choose your own adventure. Stay motivated this winter, explore a new run route, and join our Neon Wave running community. A pancake breakfast and coffee will be provided to all participants (and supporters!) free for joining us! See you at Kettle Ridge trails!

Neon Wave is thrilled to announce a collaboration with professional snowboarder Alex Yoder for weekend of snowboarding, coffee, and community engagement.
The weekend kicks off on Saturday, February 24th, with a coffee pop-up supported by Patagonia at Neon Wave's shop located at 2160 Mountain Road. From 8am to 1pm, attendees will have the opportunity to savor specialty brews from Alex's brand and 1% For The Planet Member 'Overview Coffee' and New York based Moku Coffee Supply. Additionally, enthusiasts can experience Japanese craftsmanship on the slopes with complimentary demos of Gentemstick Snowboards all weekend long.
The excitement continues on Sunday, February 25th, with a sunrise splitboard mission, commencing at 7 am with support from SplitboardVT. Following the adventure, attendees and the general public can unwind and enjoy complimentary coffee back at Neon Wave from 8 am to 1 pm and continue to demo snowboards until 3pm.

Look for the Neon Wave stickers on our boards and helmets to score yourself your own sticker. Join us for some turns as we find the best snow on the most vertical feet western New York has to offer. All skill levels of riders and skiers are welcome to join. We will lap the comet express before we open the doors of Flagship in Victor weekly, so come share the stoke, ask us anything, let us help you adjust your equipment, or give us the heads up to bring you out the demo board you’ve been dying to try. This event is fully open and free to the community to shop deals and steals from Neon Wave and private parties all in one location. Although we are focusing on winter gear this season, please feel free to sell any supplies or gear related to the outdoors; you never know who might be in the gift giving mood!
