Inspired by the experimental workings of traditional ocean surfboard shapers, the Asym board from Phase 5 could be wakesurfing's next biggest step in performance evolution. Traditionally, asymmetical surfboards are designed for point break waves where the surfer is consistently going right or consistenly going left. In wakesurfing, while surfing in all directions is a blast - we often opt to start our surf in one direction, which is our frontside. Traditional symmetrical boards can offer a disadvantage in comparison when considering the unnecessary surface area on either side of the board. The asymmetrical design of the surfboard puts the longer rail in the water and a more curved, shorter rail at your heels giving the surfer more speed, drive, maneuverablity and carving range. A regular rider would most likely opt for the Asym Port, while a goofy rider would most likely desire the Asym Starboard. Constructed in Phase 5's Flextec V2. Comes with an offset FCS thruster fin set.
