The overall mission of the Block 3 Binding is to be a choice binding for all-mountain snowboarding. You can tackle the whole mountain from groomers and sidehits to the park and beyond. Stripped of anything you don't need, and supplying you with everything that you do. Anyone can use this binding but this is an excellent choice for beginners who don't really know their riding style yet.
What differentiates the Block 3 Bindings within their lineup is the ankle strap, footbed shape, highback, and the flex rating. The ankle strap is a Slim Strap - lightweight, comfortable and simple. The thinnest strap in their lineup designed to stretch and eliminate pressure points. A Flat Footbed shape is utilized to provide a direct connection and feel to your snowboard. Offering more stability and a more natural feeling that is ideal for beginners or freestyle snowboarding. The Minimalist Highback fits into the motto of this binding, everything you need and nothing you don't. The highback has no forward lean adjuster and no EVA padding. This is a lightweight, no non-sense design with a softer flex.
