The Car Coat is a distinct piece that emerged in the early 1900s. Specifically designed to be shorter than a duster or overcoat, ideal for drivers and passengers in early vehicles: providing warmth, protection, and ease of movement while in a vehicle.
Fast forward to today, the Twill Car Coat by Tenore revives this retro silhouette. A roomy, relaxed fit, with a length landing at about mid-thigh. This coat has a very premium feel, soft on the skin and lightweight. Detailed with a button closure and wrist cuff buttons. For a slight modern touch, a stealth embroidery ‘Tenore slogan’ is under collar. An internal left chest pocket and large internal stretch mesh pockets complete this piece.
A highly diverse jacket in terms of wearability. Wear over a blazer or dress shirt for a more refined/ dressed up look, wear over a tee shirt for a dressed down look ideal for warmer temperatures, or layer over a hoodie for added warmth.
