A basic package that includes everything rope related that you need to wakeboard.
Description
The Basic Package includes a rope and handle and has a max length of 65’. This makes this package ideal for beginner and intermediate level riders. This shorter rope will set you in the smaller part of the wake, making it easier to get up and ride.
The mainline is made with a heavy duty, low-stretch, nylon. The mainline has a max length of 65’ and has knotted sections at 50’, 55’, and 60’. The handle has a 15” bar with a narrow circle grip wrapped in suede. This grip is comfortable in your hands and remains grippy when wet. The bar is injected with foam helping the handle float, and for added buoyancy this package includes foam float attachments. This gives beginners a better sense of where they are in the water.
The Basic Package is a great place to start when looking for ropes and handles. It is affordable, perfect for beginners/ intermediate riders, and is backed by Follows craftsmanship. However, if you are more of an advanced rider, we would recommend The Follow Pro Package.
*This package is great for beginner wakeboarding, and can be used for wakesurfing in a pinch. However, if you are strictly wakesurfing, Follow has a specialized Surf Package. We would recommend that.
