A full wetsuit for very cold water - when performing highly active water sports. Offering more warmth and little less mobility than thinner wetsuits.
Description
The Hyperfreak 5/4mm+ Chest Zip Full Wetsuit is needed during very cold water activities. Using a 5mm thick neoprene on your torso to provide significant warmth. At this thickness you are going to lose some mobility, but if you are wearing this wetsuit it is because you need the additional warmth. However, the chest zip design does enhance flexibility while paddling, and the 4mm thick neoprene on your extremities enhance mobility as well. A standard choice for winter surfing in the Pacific Northwest, North Atlantic, or surfing the Great Lakes.
Other than the sheer thickness of this wetsuit, additional warmth is provided by the Technobutter 3 neoprene. An exclusive material to O’Neill that is light weight and provides substantial warmth. Then assembled with a minimal seam design where each seam is sealed and taped, all to prevent water from leaking in. This suit also uses a Anti-Flush Barrier. Preventing cold water from rushing in (which is the most common way to get cold), and any water that bypasses this barrier is quickly directed out through drain holes.
Additional details of this product include: an integrated hood, an internal key pocket, and most of the materials are recycled (like the Yarn Liners and the neoprene itself).
