From the artist: This day was a full 5 hour mission to get one photo sort of day. We woke up at dark to drive 2 hours south for this wave. Since covid was in full swing during this swell we had to divert our normal entry route and walk in from the beach to the south. It was another 2 hour hike with all of our gear in the 90 degree desert sun. As we climbed scorching sand dunes we could hear the sound of the waves and eventually see tiny white lines in the distance. The waves were pumping and we got out there as quickly as possible. It's a long paddle and by the time we got out to the break the wind had switched. A few massive sets rolled in but the devil wind was too much for the fickle point. This shot was the only good wave ridden in the hour of rideable waves we got that morning. That's the way surf trips are though; you can't win every battle to find the best waves... but the adventure is half the fun. - Isaac 20inx30in full color print, signed and numbered edition of 20 with stamped and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
