A full kids wetsuit for very cold water - when performing highly active water sports. Offering more warmth and little less mobility than thinner wetsuits.
Description
The 5/4/3mm Modulator Chest Zip Hooded Full Wetsuit is needed for very cold water activities. Using 5mm thick neoprene on your torso to provide significant warmth. At this thickness you are going to lose some mobility, but it is necessary for water between 42-58 F°. To enhance mobility as much as possible 4mm thick neoprene is used on the lower body, and 3mm thick neoprene is used under the arms. This gives you better flexibility for paddling and riding. This is the suit you will need for surfing the Pacific Northwest, North Atlantic, and the Great Lakes.
Other than the sheer thickness of this wetsuit, additional warmth is provided by the V-Science Stone-Thermal FIR interior lining. This lining covers the entire torso and upper legs to maximize core heat radiation. This liner reflects and radiates body heat and acts as a water-repellent barrier. Draining water quickly and doing the most to try and keep you warm. The seams are then sealed up, reinforced, and taped. This method is watertight and durable. Helping to prevent flushing and keep you comfortable.
Additional details of this product include: an attached hood with a chin cup and deflection visor, durable textured knee pads, elastic drawcord shoulder cinch with barrel lock, and liquid seal wrist and ankle grippers.
