The Solstice Socks are a lightweight winter sock with zero cushioning. You may be thinking, “Why would I want that? Wouldn’t a thick sock keep me warmer?” And the answer is not always! If you are really getting after it on the mountain, hiking in the winter, or just maintaining a high activity in colder weather a thicker sock might actually make your feet colder. Thicker socks can be less breathable, trap heat, and make your feet sweat. All that extra condensation will make your feet much colder, so if you are really getting after it, a lightweight sock might actually be a better option for you.
These socks are performance focused. Giving you a snug fit with no slipping or bunching, a seamless construction for added comfort, a tall design to prevent any boot rubbing irritation, and are removed of any cushioning or padding. An intentional design to enhance boot connectivity giving you a better board feel underfoot. Crafted with primarily merino wool and nylon, a blend of materials that are ideal for cold weather activity. These socks will be durable, breathable, and have a responsive temperature regulation nature to them. Helping you to stay warm, keep your feet dry, and remain comfortable all day during your winter activities.
