The Mayhem Evil Quad revisits a design concept from 2008 and 2009, during the production of 5’5” REDUX, where twin fins up front were paired with longboard "side bites" as rear quads, creating a Twin+2 setup. This configuration gained fame when Cory Lopez rode it during the memorable Skeleton Bay segment and scored a SURFER Mag cover in Indo, showcasing the innovative fin setup. Inspired by this legacy, Mayhem has revisited the concept, collaborating with Futures to refine and develop it further. Utilizing the new "medium-sized" Evil Twin template at the front and pairing it with downsized rear quads, they have created the Evil Quad. After extensive testing and development, the result is a versatile and high-performance quad setup. Alongside the Evil Quad release, Mayhem has updated the graphics and cant angle of the original Evil Twin, offering a refreshed look across the range. All options are adorned with vibrant colors by LongToe laminations, celebrating the evolution of these iconic designs.

Dream, Design, Cut, Surf

In 1996, the Longo brothers decided to combine their technical know-how with something they loved. Surfing. They have always considered building locally extremely important, and now this allows us at Futures to dream up a fin, design it, cut it and surf it, all in a matter of hours under one roof in Huntington Beach. As innovators, they are driven to improve, to never settle. Sharing their new innovations with other surfers is what fuels their devotion to progression.
