Description
The MOD1 Helmet is sort of the baseline for protective wear. Delivering high functionality through simplicity. This helmet uses a Dura-Matter and Polycarbonate blended shell to provide protection. A lightweight and durable material that protects your head from impacts. Additionally included are creature comfort features, overall resulting in a quality product that is price conscious.
The protection element to this helmet is the shell and EPS foam liner. A durable, lightweight shell with a liner that acts as a shock absorber. This liner crushes upon impact to absorb the hit helping to elevate some of the impact on your brain and skull.
A few notable features to call out on the MOD1 Helmet include the BOA 360 Fit System, and Fidlock Buckle. The BOA 360 Fit System is a fully adjustable system helping to deliver an exact fit. The fidlock buckle is a magnetic buckle that is secure and very easy to use with gloves on.
*This helmet does not include MIPS Rotational Impact System. Which greatly improves protection on rotational impacts. If you are somebody hitting the terrain park, ducking and weaving between the trees, or find yourself at an increased risk of slamming for whatever reason - we recommend you look for a helmet that does include MIPS technology.
