Description
The MOD1 MIPS Helmet is inspired by the design of a classic low-profile skateboard helmet, but functions as a highly protective snowboard helmet for anywhere on the mountain. This helmet delivers simplicity with premium function. Utilizing the technology and features you need, minus any frills, giving you a quality product with a lot of bang for your buck.
This helmet utilizes MIPS rotational impact protection which greatly improves protection on impact. The shell is made with Dura-Matter & polycarbonate blend, another layer of protection that is lightweight and strong. The liner is a EPS foam - this acts as a shock absorber by compressing and crushing upon impact.
A few notable features to call out on the MOD1 MIPS Helmet include the BOA 360 Fit System, and Fidlock Buckle. The BOA 360 Fit System is a fully adjustable system helping to deliver an exact fit. The fidlock buckle is a magnetic buckle that is secure and very easy to use with gloves on.
