Outerknown was founded by 11-time World Surf League champion Kelly Slater and acclaimed designer John Moore as a response to the unsustainable practices in the fashion world they spent 2 decades in. Outerknown makes every decision with the highest regard to the hands that build their clothes. Their mission is to protect natural resources, empower the people crafting their clothes, and inspire change within the industry and beyond. You shouldn't have to sacrifice style for sustainability - the two should be synonymous.
