I would argue there hasn't been anything more revolutionary, with skateboard equipment, in the last 10 years than shaped skateboard decks. The Powell-Peralta Egg Shape decks, along with Andy Anderson, have led that charge.
The Anderson Heron 2 is one of the most advanced decks on the market. Thinner than a normal deck, lighter than traditional 7-ply maple, and twice as strong. The epoxy infused fiber reinforces the structure of the deck making them last longer and gives greater rebound and snap. This ensures “everlasting pop.”
Andy Anderson has been so great for skateboarding. A highly creative, versatile, skilled, innovative, and humble dude. If you didn't grow up with Rodney Mullen, then Anderson is your Mullen.
