A modern design of the classic fish surfboard, tailored to thrive in more challenging wave conditions and elevate performance surfing. Its name draws inspiration from boats that straddle the line between narrow racing shells and wider rowboats, reflecting its versatile nature. Characterized by a more aggressive, pulled-in outline, it features a narrowed nose and tail compared to traditional fish shapes. This design tweak enhances maneuverability and allows for tighter turns and steeper drops. Ample volume in the center facilitates easier paddling and swift entry into waves, while the precisely tuned, down rails deliver essential grip on steep faces and facilitate dynamic carving. This board is constructed with a single concave under the front foot for lift and speed, transitioning to a spiral "V" out the tail, the Wherry ensures exceptional rail-to-rail maneuverability.
