Description
The Norvan LD 3 GTX is designed for comfort on extended trail runs and optimal comfort when hiking. The first thing you will notice trying these on is how comfortable they are out of the box. Upon use, they remain comfortable, but you will also recognize how breathable and lightweight they are. If you are provided a rainy day or morning dew, you’ll also be impressed by the waterproofing capabilities of these shoes.
The external construction of the Norvan LD 3 GTX includes an outsole crafted with a combination of Vibram MegaGrip and Vibram LITEBASE. This pairing gives you a durable and grippy sole, while reducing the weight and thickness. The midsole, tongue, and upper sections of the shoe use InFuse and Ariaprene materials. InFuse provides exceptional recovery from compression, and increases comfort and durability. Allowing the shoe to take a beating and return to the original shape. Ariaprene assists with stability, compression, stretch, and breathability. Overall helping to maintain comfort through high output activity. Finally, GORE-TEX membrane provides exceptional waterproofing and assists with breathability performance.
The internal construction uses Dynamic Foam. A 3D-molded insole made with Ion Element 100% recycled EVA. These are sustainable materials that provide a perfect blend of support and comfort during high performance. Assisting in reducing fatigue, relaxing muscles, and elevating performance.
