Introducing Woolf Merino

Textures rooted in nature. The Norwegian based textile producers, Woolf, have gathered much more inspiration from their canine counterpart than the name alone. Observing the behavior of wolves in their natural habitat has played a significant role in bringing the Woolf brand to life. So, what is it about wolves that was so impactful to observe, one creates a merino wool base layer line for it? The wild canidae creatures play a hugely significant role in the balancing of healthy eco-systems, they possess exceptional agility and effectiveness when traversing varied terrain, and are highly adaptable to extreme environments. With one river of ideas flowing into the next, they ultimately converged into a single goal. The mission became to embrace those very principles of the wolf and demonstrate them in the context of merino wool textiles. Providing us human folk the ability to further access wild areas and become more resilient, effective, and engaged with our natural environments. Further, this pushes us to realize that we too, can act as an influential force in the balancing and healthy growth of our eco-systems. At a point we may not be as far away from the wolf as we think.
