The Transfer LT Shovel is the lightest UIAA certified shovel on the market. Combining packability, durability, and function in a lightweight design.

This shovel is purposefully built for fast and efficient avalanche response in the backcountry. This is a tool that combines a lightweight and thin design that slices through snow with ease. This is done with the material and design of the shovel. The 100% aluminum blade is riveted. This removes unnecessary weight, and maintains a blade with a large surface area that is durable. The lightweight design coupled with the collapsable design, also makes this shovel easy to pack and carry during backcountry travel.

Efficiency is the most important element of the design of the Transfer LT Shovel, but ergonomic function and packability are a close second. The lightweight design inherently makes this shovel easier to shovel with and stow in your pack, but the T shaped handle also provides a comfortable grip with or without gloves. The two-piece telescoping shaft allows this shovel to collapse smaller to stow. You can also remove the handle section entirely for an even smaller footprint in your pack.
